YUMSometimes you come across an event that is so great that you wish you could just magically make it appear on everyone’s social calendar. Or stand on a corner with a big sign that just says “Seriously, why would you NOT come to this?”  Mission Chamber Orchestra has set up just such and event called Noteworthy Desserts, and let me tell you it sounds like a SWEET/SUITE deal. MCO has clearly crawled into my sweet tooth and created a customized fundraiser (taking place March 9th) that pairs 6 pieces of music with 6 amazing desserts from local restaurants and bakeries. A great variety of tunes and sugary temptations! Throw in wines, poetry, a silent auction and a price of only $25 and I’d say you are about to be a hero in a big way.  Trick is you NEED to get your tickets by March 2nd so they know dessert quantities (these are fresh local desserts made especially for this event people!!! Dude. Why are you still reading this?! Click and get your tickets already!

Noteworthy Desserts invites attendees to drink fine wine and sample decadent desserts. It’s conceived as a magical journey through a sequence of music and dessert pairings to delight, amaze and leave listeners with new cravings. Recited poetry and a silent auction will further enhance the event.

The Mission Chamber Orchestra of San Jose (MCOSJ) will create the music and make the wine flow. For our Noteworthy Desserts adventure, six creative desserts will be paired with music to enhance your enjoyment of the performances by MCOSJ musicians. Doors open at 7:00; music and desserts served beginning at 7:30.
