MC – Arts Panorama, January 27th, 6:30pm, the Scottish Rite Center, 2455 Masonic Rd, San Jose. To benefit the South Bay Guitar Society & Noon Arts & Lectures. Tasty hors d’ oeuvres, delicious wine, a silent auction and music provided by Classical Guitarist Chris Mann, Firebird Chinese Orchestra Chamber Music Silicon Valley, Lyric Theater and others. Poetry between the acts. Tickets are $30.

Creative Collisions – Know Your Way In San Jose, Tuesday,June 28th, The Tech Museum Of Innovation: Celebrate the secretly vibrant city of San Jose! This special edition of Creative Collisions is designed to help you decode the Bay Area’s biggest city. Expert 408ers will be on hand to “show you the way,” and by the end of the night we promise you’ll know the best place to get a burrito downtown, the fastest way to get from San Pedro to SoFA and how an ambitious light tower in San Jose may have helped inspire the creation of the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

Explore San Jose’s Local Treasures, August 23rd, 5:30-6:45, Berryessa Branch Library – -From learning about the City Hall Peregrines and the Sister City program, to the innovation of Lick Observatory, the beauty of our Rose Gardens and the fun engineering of Lake Cunningham Skate Park, come explore a little bit of everything and draw your own “local treasures map” to reference later when you go exploring. History, Art, Science, Nature, Food and Culture in San Jose are creatively explored in 10 different local treasures, emphasizing how San Jose fits into the world physically, how we might connect to it individually and what sets us apart. This will be targeted to an older/adult audience but still family friendly.

Social Media Panel – October 28th, 9:30am -11am – San Jose Evergreen Community College District Office – Representing Team San Jose as the panel’s Facebook best practices expert.

Tuesday, June 23rd, 7pm-10pm100 Things to do in San Jose Before you Die Book Sales & Signing at the Theatre on San Pedro Square (as part of FREE Tosps Tuesday, with the Top Shelf Big Band).  Come rock out to the swinging sound of the Top Shelf Big Band in the fantastic Theatre on San Pedro Square, feature in the book. Grab a drink at the bar and a book too if you want!

Saturday, June 6th, 11am-2:30pm100 Things to do in San Jose Before you Die Book Sales & Signing at Whole Foods Market, 777 Alameda, San Jose. Grab a book, get your autograph, do some shopping with SJMADE’s local pop up mart, and then visit the awesomeness that made the list of 100 things to do in San Jose, in its WHOLE glory.
